Resort Mayur, Lataguri The Resort is situated by the western side of National Highway 31 between Jalpaiguri and Chalsa. The highway passes through the dense forest of long Sal trees. The herds of elephants of adjacent Gorumara National Park crosses the road too. Night driving along this road is not suggested. The resort provides ample space for outdoor games, children entertainment, tribal dance and car parking. The restaurant serves freshly cooked dishes as per the choice of guests. The management takes care of every small need of the guests including jungle safari. Altogether 22 persons can be accommodated as per the normal capacity and 6 more persons with extra bed in rooms. The surroundings are full of vegetation and calm excepting the chirping of birds.
